IPT Architects have an established sister company, Ecospace www.ecospacestudios.com, that produces sustainable buildings based on our generic system-build concept. The Ecospace modules provide a turnkey alternative to traditional procurement.
Ecospace projects use modern off-site construction methods to ensure cost certainty, quality control and fast-track construction times. The system-build concept can be applied to many building types: from modest garden rooms to full ecohomes, education buildings and holiday retreats. The buildings are constructed using an insulated structural panel system, with cedar or larch cladding, sedum planted roofs and birch wood interiors.
We launched the Ecospace concept in 2005 at the Grand Designs Live. We have completed over 170 Ecospace projects throughout the UK. We have also received international interest, resulting in Ecospace now being established throughout Europe where the first projects have been completed.
